This Is Your GameTap Monthly

Hey, there!

Sid Meier's Civilization IV If you're a big Sid Meier fan — and who isn't — you probably know that he's the second person EVER to be inducted into the Academy of Interactive Arts and Sciences' Hall of Fame (the first was Shigeru Miyamoto, the creator of Mario, Donkey Kong, and The Legend of Zelda).

And we're very happy to announce that we've added one of his greatest achievements — Sid Meier ’s Civilization IV — to the GameTap catalog (trumpet fanfare)!!!

If you've never played this popular and internationally acclaimed turn-based strategy game from 2K Games, well, that's mighty uncivilized of you.

In Civ IV, you get to build an empire from scratch. From stone age to space age, your civilization struggles for supremacy. Wars, religion, government — all decisions are yours. Guide your people from early prehistory into the stars. Plan your every move, play enemies and allies off one another, and become an empire whose foundations extend into the mists of human history. For the strong, there is immortality. For the weak, only oblivion.

And when you’re ready for another gem by the masterful Sid Meier, take a dip into Davy Jones' Locker and play Sid Meier’s Pirates!. Arrrrrrrrrrrr! It's a fine, fine game it is, matey!

That’s all this time around! Be sure to finish reading the rest of “GameTap Monthly.” We look forward to seeing you back here again next month!

And don't forget that you can still play all of Sam & Max: Season One, starting at the beginning with Episode One (a very good place to start!).
