| Cosmetics Packaging Solution |
| When a US-based skin-care company planned to introduce a line of cosmetics at its thousands of spa-clinics located around the world, its first impulse was to look to China for the packaging. The company approached Chinese factories directly but was never able to bridge the communication barrier to explain exactly what they wanted. |
 An intermediary, aware of Allen Field’s expertise in working with Chinese manufacturers, brought the project to us. Among the pieces we designed was a clamshell container for refill pans for face-powder compacts. The containers needed to be transparent to show the color, small to conserve space, but large and sturdy to hold the product firmly and provide a bubble barrier against damage from handling by shoppers – difficult concepts to convey across a language gap. |
| The middleman was impressed with our ability to promptly email designs and drawings to him, which he printed on card stock for an impressive presentation to the customer. The result was an immediate decision to go ahead with manufacturing. The customer was thrilled to obtain a higher-quality package than he expected, while staying within his price range. |

| Add color to your packaging! |
 Though many are unaware, Allen Field stock products are available in custom colors. Our standard handle, shown here, is the most popular item for color customization. Usually customers request a color to match their product, logo, or package design, but sometimes their choice harmonizes with the season or a holiday. Now that it’s fall, we’re getting more inquiries about brown, red, and dark green and blue handles. |
| Our elliptical handles are getting more and more popular in custom colors. Combined with their modern look, the color adds extra POP to packaging. Small hosiery and sock hangers and display aids can also be requested in custom colors. If you’re interested in a particular item in color, just call or e-mail us to see if it is available. We can supply any PMS shade at a nominal cost. |
