How To Succeed in a Tough Retail Environment

In difficult economic times, it is important to attempt to maximize every customer on every sale.

It is not enough these days to let the customer walk out of your store or leave your web site without offering those accessories available to maximize your customers experience with their new products.

ESP’s (Extended Service plans) are one of the accessories that should be offered to each and every customer on every sale.

Profits on ESP sales are typically 100%, providing retailers with an additional revenue stream on every sale. With Gotham’s drop ship program and fast deliveries, there is little inventory required on these ESP sales reducing investment in inventory substantially.

Remember – To be successful in selling accessory products, your salespeople must ask every customer every time, on every sale. Just by doing this will increase ESP and other accessory products dramatically!

RepairMaster Introduces Accidental Damage Coverage

Warrantech has just introduced accidental damage coverage, which should increase warranty sales substantially.

These warranties can now be sold on any portable audio, portable video, or portable GPS products.

The warranties must be sold at the time the unit is sold since damage coverage begins from day one. Damage units including screens will be repaired and if not repairable, will be replaced.

In addition to the accidental damage coverage, these plans also cover defects for a total of three years inclusive of the manufacturer’s warranty.

RepairMaster Introduces Commercial Coverage

At the request of many of our customers, Warrantech has just introduced a commercial only category.

This category was established for items used in a continuous use commercial application. Currently these products are available for TV’s and appliances. The contracts may be sold on items used in bars, arcades, offices, airports, hair salons, etc.

Products must be sold at the time the unit is sold. Should the manufacturer’s warranty be voided due to the product being used commercially, the RepairMaster warranty would take effect from day one.
