RFID Now in Use

You will see more use of RFID Technology being used at trade shows. RFID or Radio Frequency Identification Technology has been around since the 1970s, and with some of the new, and less expensive components it is something that can be used in more consumer applications.

Just think, now when you go to a trade show it will be possible for the trade show management to know where you are at all times, just by having a RFID tag imbedded in your trade show badge!

Tips From the Booth

In every professional sport they have coaches. What do coaches do? They make a good player great and a great player outstanding.

You are a professional business person, why not have the services of a professional to coach you to greatness.

Turn your trade show expense into an investment that produces sales opportunities. Your coach has years of professional business experience behind him/her. They will use that experience to help your event be a winning one.

Your coach will guide you through all the details by working with you to:

  • Plan your presentation
  • Develop your display
  • Organize the details
  • Train your sales personnel to be product presenters and prospect qualifiers

The Pre-show, Show and Post-show efforts is where the coach does the job.

TipBest practices for Trade shows

Every month you will get a tip that will help you as a trade show participant. These tips will be timely, focused and in plain language.

You have to invite people to come to your booth at the trade show.

How many times did you have a client come up to you at a trade show and say, “I didn’t know you were in this trade show?” Or, after the trade show, you visit a client and ask him, “Why didn’t you come to the trade show and visit me at my booth?” and his response is, “Because no one invited me.” If you want to have a successful trade show, you have to make and effort and invite people to the Trade Show and to stop at your booth.

Invite your clients, prospects and suspects. Trade show management does not guarantee attendees or traffic at your booth. You have to make the effort!
