Obstetrics and Gynecology of Atlanta commissioned LeVino Jones Medical Interiors, Inc. to design a fresh look for their new suite in this hard working, high volume practice. This 15,900 square foot medical office supports 8 physicians, 3 midwives and accommodates 750 patients per week for women’s health services, bone density testing, ultrasound services, digital mammography, incontinence therapy and procedures.
The design team at LeVino Jones created a modified pod design with exam, assessment and consult services in each provider suite or pod. A central corridor “racetrack” component allows all height, weight, lab, diagnostic and assessment services to take place on the way to the exam room, allowing for continuous and smoother patient flow with increased staff efficiency.
Soft, rounded design elements were used throughout patient areas to break up the hard angular building geometry and “soften the edges” of a clinical visit.
