Does OpenMoves Mail
provide lists of email addresses?
No. OpenMoves Mail is a permission-based only
solution.
Are there
requirements regarding how many or how few
e-mail messages I can send?
No. OpenMoves Mail offers a variety of plans and
is designed to meet the needs of businesses of
all sizes. Therefore, you can choose a plan that
fits your business, and switch plans easily as
your firm’s needs change.
Does OpenMoves
Mail enable you to gather demographic
information about your subscribers?
Yes. When you sign up with OpenMoves Mail, you
can create your own customized sign up form,
allowing you to gather the specific demographic
information you need. You can customize this
information to suit your business needs. When
new subscribers sign up, they will be asked to
supply the designated information. With the
demographic information you collect, you can
target your e-mail messages to specific
audiences. You can then access and manipulate
this information easily and securely by using
the OpenMoves Mail Control Panel.
I’m concerned
about keeping my list information confidential.
I know my clients are concerned about
confidentiality as well. Does OpenMoves Mail
sell contact information?
OpenMoves Mail is committed to protecting the
privacy of its users and their customers.
OpenMoves Mail does not sell or share contact
information in any manner.
Is it possible to
send the same e-mail newsletter in different
formats?
Yes. OpenMoves Mail enables you to send your
e-mail newsletter in text format and as rich
HTML messages. The service can also send
“Multi-Part” messages, HTML messages that are
coded to recognize whether the user’s programs
accepts HTML messages; if the user’s e-mail
program is text-only, that subscriber will
receive the text version of the e-mail.
Can I track who
reads each newsletter?
Yes, OpenMoves Mail enables you to track who is
reading and forwarding your e-mails.. When you
send a message in HTML format, you can track who
is opening each message. With HTML format
messages, you can also track which links users
click in your newsletter, who is forwarding your
newsletter, and who is signing up as a result of
that forwarding.
Can I preview my
newsletter before I send it?
OpenMoves Mail offers both preview and test
features for when you are ready to send out your
e-mail campaign. The service sends a test
newsletter to your personal e-mail account
before sending it to your customers. Also, you
can open your newsletter in the different e-mail
programs your customers might be using.
Can I confirm
that an e-mail has been sent successfully?
OpenMoves Mail gives you the option to track
your campaign stats. You can find out how many
e-mails were sent.
After
subscribing, can a contact change his or her
information?
Yes, OpenMoves Mail automatically includes a
link your newsletter that allows users to update
their information or unsubscribe from your list.
Can I import more than
one list of subscribers?
Yes, unlike many other e-mail marketing
programs, OpenMoves Mail enables you to import
and use multiple lists for e-mail campaigns. You
will not be charged for using multiple lists,
only for the number of e-mail messages sent.
Can I modify my sign-up
form after I launch it?
Yes, users can add, delete, and modify questions
at any time.
Will I know when I have
new contacts on one of my lists?
Each user can set the option to receive a report
in real time of who has joined, unsubscribed, or
been removed from one of your lists (e.g.
invalid address).

Yes. With OpenMoves Mail, you can use our e-mail
templates for your campaign- you simply drop in
the copy and logos. Users also have the option
of using existing newsletter or announcement
layouts that they provide themselves. You can
use OpenMoves Mail to deliver
professional-looking newsletters even if you
aren’t familiar with HTML or web graphics. Or,
our OpenMoves designers can design and write a
custom newsletter for you.
Is there a
minimum contract period for using OpenMoves
Mail?
There is no minimum contract period. The terms
are month to month
